Big Boy Bed

My baby is all grown up, although he looks smaller once again. We just moved him into a "Big Boy Bed". And it is big...We went ahead and bought a queen size and put him in there. He loves it and still thinks he needs us to get out. He just lays there until you come and get him. That is our little secret for now. HAHAHAH!!

CONSTRUCTION

Our neighborhood is still under construction. We take every opportunity to see all the activity and every tractor that comes close to the house. The other day while we were outside, they were doing the yard a couple of houses away. I took Wyatt over to get a closer look and the gentleman let Wyatt operate the tractor. Back and forth and up and down. Wyatt is quite the large machinery operator!!

Spring fever

Although I do not know if spring has really sprung, we have definitely had some nice days here and there. Wyatt is going to be much more active this year. Nap seems to be less and less important to him, just as long as he does not stop because he will fall. A couple of favorites are playing street hockey and riding his Spider man bike.

Toilet Training...UGH

We have started to potty train Wyatt. He started showing interest by walking around with his legs spread apart after he would pee. We borrowed a singing toilet from Ben and Kelly which has worked very well. Wyatt has worn underwear a couple of days and has stayed dry, but pooping will be a whole other story. He prefers not to poop in the toilet. Therefore, we will be in diapers for a little while longer.

I have been working a couple nights a week and I called home to see how Nick and Wyatt were doing. Nick sounded very preoccupied. I asked Nick what was going on.

He said, "Well, Wyatt just went pee in the toilet and ran into the family room. I went out to put another diaper and pants back on him and found a terd on the marble in front of the fireplace." OOPS!!!! Obviously, we still have some work ahead of us!!!

Slacker!!!!

So, I have been slacking on the blog. I have been meaning to give an update and it is about time. Lately, Wyatt has been loving to play games, especially Snakes and Ladders. Nick says his luck is very bad, that means Wyatt is having a blast and winning!!!!

Easter has come and gone again. Nick happened to be away for the easter egg dying, but arrived in time for the easter dinner.

We also had a new arrival on March 18th. My sister in law, Kelly, had a baby girl. They named her Sarah Renae. She is beautiful. Wyatt keeps saying, "I want a baby Sarah." He is very ready for a brother or sister. I think he will be a great help, he sures seems to like to be around Sarah.

Congratulations, Ben and Kelly. We are all very exciting that Sarah is here.

Welcome All!! I thought this was a great way to share pictures with everyone! Enjoy!!!
