From Baby to Toddler.....

Our days are filled with fun these days. I swear Wyatt has went from a baby to a little boy overnight. I told my mom the other night, " Wyatt is so good, Nick and I can leave him downstairs and he gets into very little if anything at all." Ha, ha, those were the famous last words.

Saturday morning I heard Wyatt in the bathroom and I thought he was just washing his hands. And that is all he was doing.....in the toilet!! I heard the toilet seat slam and I went down and Wyatt looked at me and says, "Hands all clean mama." Oh my god, I tried so hard to keep a straight face and tell him we wash our hands in the sink, not the toilet. Needless to say, I lifted up the toilet seat because the water seemed like it was running for a long time and Wyatt had shoved my decorative washcloths in the toilet. Obviously, we do not have the model of toilet that sucks down 100 golf balls. The washcloths were lodged nicely, but they didn't go down.

Moral of the story...... At least he washed them in the toilet at home.

So then we moved onto lunch, after we washed his hands in the sink of course. I had given him a couple pieces of cheese and asked him to eat them. I looked at his tray first and didn't see any cheese. I then went to say good job Wyatt as my eyes glanced up and saw this...

I, once again, had to turn around so he wouldn't see me laugh and grab the camera.
HAHAHAHAHA!! I sit back and can't imagine what is was like before Wyatt. Was lunch really relaxing or just boring without cheese hanging off the wall??? I just love this kid.

On a more serious note, we finished the day with a bang. We went to a 50th wedding anniversary for some friends of ours mom and dad. Jen, who is a great photgrapher, got some great pics of Wyatt and emailed them to me. Thought I would add them as well. Thanks a bunch Jen. Wish you could be our personal photographer!

The Hanson Brothers

Well, I hope I do this justice in Nick's eyes...

Nick went to the Indianapolis Ice game saturday night and the special guests at the game were the "Hanson Brothers". Nick waited in line for a very long time just to get the news that they were done with autographs. As he always says, timing is everything, he went back out and the line was gone and he managed to get an autographed picture as well as a picture with them... take a look!!!!

Ride 'em Cowboy

Trick-or-treating was a lot of fun this year because Wyatt actually understood what was going on!! He said trick-or-treat and even Thank you! Nick also carved pumpkins. We kept asking Wyatt what he wanted on his pumpkin and he said,"a shark". He thought that was scary. If you noticed on the pics that is exactly what is on his pumpkin. Thank goodness Nick is a good pumpkin carver!

Below is Wyatt with the Martin girls; Lindsey, Gabby and Lilly!

Fire Station

I did not get a lot of pictures at the fire department. I guess I was making sure Wyatt did not set of a fire alarm!! We did have fun and the firefighters were very good with the kids. They let them go anywhere they wanted. They also showed us where they slept, worked out, etc.
